Maddy-  Occupational Therapist

MADYSON KLAPMEIER

If your child struggles with regulation or motor skills at home or school, Maddy is here to help you engage in playful parenting to connect and gain skills. Maddy’s passion is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming practice, and she has completed continuing education in both areas.

After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Montana and Occupational Therapy Master’s Degree at the University of Mary-Billings campus, Maddy completed her OT fieldwork with Wild Roots and officially joined the team after graduation. Maddy has an Advanced Mentored Clinician Level 1 credential from the STAR Institute in Denver, CO, and uses this knowledge base to skillfully evaluate kids, create client-centered treatment plans, and engage therapy sessions.  Maddy is also trained to use Bal-A-Vis-X and the Integrated Listening Systems Safe & Sound Protocol.

Maddy is from rural Montana and enjoys all that Montana has to offer (camping, fishing, hunting) with her husband, daughter, and dog, Simm.
